Strange Emotions With Left-Right Mixed Effects

I was testing the latest release using this image, from way way back:

I knew these people, I had a string emotional connection with them. Repligator of course does not know that, but when it once gave me a left-right mix of a filter, the image shocked me:

Then it interested me. What other things could I do when mixing Repligator effects left to right or right to left. To do this with your own images of two people is select left-right mixing from the bottom right of each effect settings dialog. For example:

Those mix settings are there in all 142 effects of Repligator 17. Here are some more examples:
